The 2025 line of the Nivus comes with a discreet facelift, but it calls for attention. The changes are centered on the front and back design, modernizing the aesthetics without altering the proportions and concepts.

Highlight in the exterior design:

  • New front bumper, with more sporting lines
  • Redesigned Full LED headlights, with greater light range
  • More open front grade, generating debate on functionality and aesthetics
  • Absence of fog lights, replaced by functional air inlets
  • 17 wheels (optional on Comfortline and standard on Highline)
  • Interconnected LED rear lights, reinforcing the modern style
  • Launch blue color option, slogan and exclusive to the new line

Version Highline It also stands out with the LED that interconnects the headlights, absent in the Comfortline, in addition to chrome details and front sensors.

Interior of the Nivus 2025: Comfort, technology and finishes

The interior of Nivus 2025 received small but important updates. Both versions share the same base, but the Highline offers additional touches of sophistication and technology.

What does the Comfortline version include?

  • VW Play Connect multimedia center with 10,1” screen
  • Digital instrument cluster 8 ”
  • Digital and automatic air conditioning
  • Induction cell phone charger
  • Fabric seats with blue details
  • Manual parking brake
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
  • Rewind camera and rear sensors
  • Six airbags, traction and stability control
  • In-person key with button start

Despite the good package, the finish still contains many elements in rigid plastic, which may disappoint some demanding buyers.

What changes in the Highline version?

  • Premium coating in darkened synthetic material (eco-friendly leather)
  • Larger, fully digital instrument panel (10,1”)
  • Electrochromatic internal rear view mirror
  • Twilight and rain sensors
  • Handles, rearview mirrors and roof rack in vehicle color or darkened (in the Outfit package)
  • VW Play Connect with built-in internet as standard
  • Interior finishes with vinyl and padded braces

That is to say, while the Comfortline offers the essentials with a high level of technology, the Highline focuses on offering greater sophistication and practicality in daily use.

Security on Nivus 2025: ADAS series and package elements

When it comes to security, Nivus 2025 doesn't disappoint. Even in the entry-level version, the model offers a very complete package, but the top-of-the-range version allows you to go further with the ADAS package.

Safety elements of the Comfortline version:

  • Six airbags (front, side and curtain)
  • Traction and stability control (ESC)
  • Hill Start Assist
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
  • Forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking
  • Automatic activation of post-collision braking
  • Reversing camera + rear parking sensors

These features make the Nivus one of the safest models in its category, even without resorting to optional packages.

ADAS package (optional on Highline):

For R$ 4.470, the ADAS package adds advanced driving assistance features:

  • Rail departure alert with active correction
  • Rail centralization (maintains the car in the center of the road)
  • Blind spot detector
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert
  • Parking assistant (automatic parking assistance)

Even though these elements are not available for the Comfortline — not as optional — the Highline makes a safer and more technological version.

Nivus 2025 internal space: Comfort for four, with limitations

The Nivus 2025 is classified as a compact SUV, and is reflected in the interior space. Although it offers good comfort for the driver and front passenger, rear seat is more limited.

Measurements and space for occupants:

  • Distance between wheels 2,56 meters
  • Good head space, even for people up to 1,80 m
  • Reduced space for legs in the rear seat, especially with the lower seat adjusted for taller people
  • Rear seat ideal for adults, with a smaller central space

The elevated tunnel and the absence of rear central braces mean that the third seat is not very practical. In practice, the Nivus accommodates better four occupants with comfort.

Comforts available in Comfortline and Highline:

  • Conditioned air outlets for rear passengers
  • USB Type-C ports (front and back)
  • 12V socket in the rear seat
  • Steering wheel height and depth adjustment
  • Driver seat height adjustment
  • Seat belt height adjustment for driver and passenger

There are details that make it different from day to day, especially on short and medium trips. Therefore, the interior space is one of the most limited points of the model, especially for larger families.

Nivus 2025 trunk: Generous space for a compact SUV

Despite its compact external dimensions, the Nivus 2025 offers one of the largest suitcases in its category, ideal for those who need practicality without sacrificing style.

Capacity and features:

  • 415 liters capacity, according to the VDA standard
  • Wide opening for easy access
  • Good depth and internal use
  • Lightweight lid, making it easier to open and close.

The space accommodates medium suitcases, backpacks and disassembled baby carriers, making the Nivus a versatile coach for urban use and family travel.

Even though the current compartment has features such as adjustable bottom or securing hooks, the total volume is more than enough for the public looking for a practical, modern and functional SUV.

Performance and engine of the Nivus 2025: Same engine, new calibration

Even though the design has changed, the mechanical assembly of the Nivus 2025 continues to be the same as the previous line. However, it received a new calibration to comply with the requirements of the Proconve PL8 emissions standard.

Engine technical specifications:

  • 1.0 TSI Turbo Flex Engine
  • Power: 128 hp with ethanol / 116 hp with gasoline
  • Torque pair: 20,4 kgfm with both fuels
  • 6-speed automatic transmission
  • Front wheel drive

Despite changes in calibration, performance remains agile and balanced. The engine responds well, with a slight turbo delay (turbo lag), noticeable only during rapid recoveries or acceleration.

Featured in driving:

  • 0 to 100 km / h in 10 seconds
  • Slightly improved maximum speed
  • Well-adjusted set for urban and road use
  • Commendable stability, with a lower gravity center than most SUVs.

Furthermore, the Nivus maintains four-wheel disc brakes, something increasingly rare in the category, which improves security and reinforces its value proposition.
